Master Plan
For input regarding our Master Plan, please email PC@peacocktownship.org.
Townships use the Master Plan to help guide them to make prudent decisions in the development of new or amended ordinances. Statute requires local governments in Michigan to assess their current master plan every five years in order to decide if the plan needs to be updated. Peacock Township last reviewed its Master Plan in 2021. The master plan is prepared by our planning commission, and is a policy document outlining our community’s vision for the future. It is the basis for, or influence for our community’s future, environmental protection, economic development, zoning and other regulatory ordinances.
Board Meetings are the 4th Wednesday of every month at 6:30.
